Thank you for popping into my shop! I’m a retired Graphic Designer, but thankfully I haven’t retired from being creative. I still love the process of making things, experimenting with colour, pattern and texture, and giving new life to all sorts of materials.
You’ll find a colourful and eclectic mix of handmade pieces in my shop, with birds and flowers featuring strongly throughout. I particularly enjoy combining unexpected materials, patterns and colours to create unique mixed-media pieces — so there’s always something a little different to discover.
I’m also a big believer in happy postage! If you find more than one item you’d like, I ALWAYS combine postage and refund any excess. I know it can be a little alarming to see the postage total increase as you add items to your basket, but please don’t worry. I’ll package your purchases together and refund the excess postage on the same day your order is dispatched.

A striking pair of discontinued Jane Churchill Samba upholstery fabric samples, bursting with bold colour, tropical pattern and beautiful embroidered detail.
These two fabric panels have come from an ex-display upholstery sample book, and the Samba fabric is now discontinued, making them a lovely find for textile enthusiasts, crafters and anyone who enjoys working with unusual designer fabrics.
The panels feature bold, stylised tropical florals, brought to life with intricate embroidery and interesting stitchwork. One sample has a fresh blue and cream colour palette, while the other combines a rich teal background with vibrant red, black, yellow and orange stitching.
The embroidery threads have a gorgeous sheen, which catches the light and adds another dimension to the colourful designs. I've tried to capture this lovely lustre, along with the texture and detail of the stitching, in the close-up photographs.
These unusual fabric panels offer plenty of creative possibilities. They could be made into beautiful cushion covers, decorative panels or bags, or incorporated into a new piece of textile artwork. They'd also be perfect for anyone who enjoys giving quality fabrics a new lease of life.
A fabulous opportunity to own a little piece of discontinued designer fabric, with plenty of colour, character and creative potential.
The samples measure approx 15 x 16 inches and the fabric is 40% linen, 35% cotton, 25% viscose.
