With shades of autumn this pretty hand stitched fabric bowl would make a perfect addition to a mantelpiece or as storage in a bedroom or bathroom. Off-cuts of vintage Welsh tweed and other fabrics including corduroy and linen were cut into oak leaf shapes and then layered and stitched over each to form a bowl. The top of the bowl is edged in a pretty ribbon with green foliage and burgundy coloured berries. The bowl has a semi-rigid form & holds its shape but it can be easily folded for travel. The fabric colours & textures used inside & outside of the bowl are different so the bowl is reversible. This is a unique item. Designed and handmade in west Wales by Deborah Shah-Smith. Approximate dimensions: 15 cm in diameter x 10 cm deep.
