Thank you for popping into my shop! I’m a retired Graphic Designer, but thankfully I haven’t retired from being creative. I still love the process of making things, experimenting with colour, pattern and texture, and giving new life to all sorts of materials.
You’ll find a colourful and eclectic mix of handmade pieces in my shop, with birds and flowers featuring strongly throughout. I particularly enjoy combining unexpected materials, patterns and colours to create unique mixed-media pieces — so there’s always something a little different to discover.
I’m also a big believer in happy postage! If you find more than one item you’d like, I ALWAYS combine postage and refund any excess. I know it can be a little alarming to see the postage total increase as you add items to your basket, but please don’t worry. I’ll package your purchases together and refund the excess postage on the same day your order is dispatched.

Quirky, colourful and full of character, this original mixed-media assemblage is a little cabinet of curiosities just waiting to be explored. It would make a wonderfully unusual gift for any occasion - or a fun addition to your own home if you fancy bringing a splash of colour and bohemian style to your décor.
The sturdy, freestanding wooden compartment box has been painted black, creating a dramatic backdrop for an eclectic collection of treasures from around the world. I've used a palette of greens, pinks and ochres, adding painted details and decorative papers to the individual compartments to give the piece its relaxed, eclectic boho feel.
Among the treasures you'll discover are carved yak-bone fish from Nepal, pressed glass beads from the Czech Republic, a small Buddha amulet from Thailand, bone beads from Africa and a charming bronze-tone turtle pendant from Mykonos, Greece.
I've also incorporated an assortment of beads and jewellery findings, along with a couple of clay tiles which I made and painted myself, adding a personal handmade touch to the collection.
Each compartment offers something different to discover, with contrasting colours, textures and objects creating a display that's as intriguing up close as it is eye-catching from across the room.
A miniature world of curious objects, far-flung places and handmade details, all brought together in one unique piece.
The overall size is approx. 24cm wide x 33cm high and 4.5cm deep.
