A beautiful Moss Agate bracelet featuring a 12mm flat Moss Agate coin, flanked by Swarovski 4mm 'peridot' bicones highlighted with 2mm gold vermeil, and 6mm round Moss Agate beads.
The coin is semi-translucent and shows off the typical moss-like filaments that give this gorgeous stone its name.
The 6mm polished round beads show a mix of all the attributes of Moss Agate, semi-translucent to semi-opaque, marbled appearance ranging in hue from almost clear to light sage and deep forest greens, with varying degrees of dendritic inclusions.
Moss Agate is a variety of Chalcedony, a mineral of the Quartz family.
It is generally included in the Agate family despite not being banded as most Agates are.
Moss agate is a beautiful sage-green stone, translucent or milky, with inclusions of iron or manganese, that look like tendrils of lichen or moss, giving the green colour.
No two stones are the same, making this a truly unique piece of jewellery - the last two photos show the different sides of the coin bead.
Swarovski 'peridot AB' crystal bicones and tiny gold vermeil beads add a glint of green sparkle and golden shine to the piece.
Moss Agate is believed to enhance tranquility and emotional balance.
This pretty stretch bracelet measures approximately 7 inches (18cm).
