Full description
This little lavender bag is upcycled from the corner of a damaged table cloth and is ready to be reused again. The front is a pretty spray of stylised flowers in cross stitch with a Folk Art feel, whilst the back is a vintage embroidered white hankie. Inside is a little muslin bag of lavender from The Yorkshire Lavender Farm. Pop it in a drawer or over a hanger to keep your clothes smelling sweet, or underneath your pillow will encourage a healthy nights' sleep. And don't forget, storing lavender with your clothes is the age old remedy to keep at bay those pesky moths. This pretty lavender bag would make a lovely house warming present, as wedding dress storage, or some self-care for someone you love!
The lavender bag is 10 cm by 10 cm and nestling inside is a muslin bag of dried lavender from North Yorkshire.
The front has a spray of embroidered flowers, and the back is a white embroidered vintage hanky.
There is a hook to go over your clothes hangers, or to hang it up as a tiny piece of craft in its own right. It is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
Your lavender bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled wrapping and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
Inspiration: I love the worn charm of old table linens like this. There is often a tiny piece intact, and just the right size for a little vintage lavender bag.
