Full description
A beach bag or tote bag made from some bright and colourful striped deckchair fabric found at the car boot. This bag has a cheaper sale price because it was a sample piece in this fabric and size. I have used it to make a simple but sturdy unlined beach tote or shopping bag. It has a small inside pocket for your phone and keys, and will fold up into its own little pouch, ready for those unexpected buys when you want to avoid plastic bags. Made to look right at home on the beach, it is perfect for towels, swimming cosies, and bottles of suntan.
The bag measures 38 cm across the front and is 42 cm long. It is sewn with strong French seams.
There is a pair of handles each 68 cm long, and the bottom is boxed to make it more roomy.
The bag folds up to fit inside its own matching pouch measuring 16 cm across and 24 cm long.
The inside pocket is 14 cm by 12 cm edged with green binding, and finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Please wash on a short, cool cycle, and hang up to dry on a line or clothes rack.
But please do not iron, as this is a man made fabric.
