Full description

A needle-felted and hand-embroidered landscape – Buttercup Field.

Inspired by Upper Swaledale, where buttercups blanket the fields in golden yellow during early summer, surrounded by dry stone walls and solitary field barns. Created entirely by hand with vibrant wool fibres, the scene is enhanced with hand-embroidered flowers for added colour and detail, felted onto a piece of vintage wool blanket.

Available framed, as shown in the photos, or unframed—select your preference when purchasing. A frameless glass option lets you fully appreciate the picture's rich textures. The framed piece measures 22 x 27 cm.

This artwork reflects a love for both colour and the Yorkshire countryside. Wool fibres bring depth and texture to the drystone wall, while hand-stitched wildflowers add a bright contrast. An ideal gift for walkers or cycling enthusiasts, evoking cherished moments spent in nature.
