I have never found a table cloth with such bold daffodils embroidery as this one! I love its upbeat flowers. Even though it had seen better days, there were enough corners intact to make a set of pretty bags. There is a smaller clutch or cosmetics bag also in my shop right now.

Full description
This pretty bucket bag or handbag was once a vintage table cloth, hand embroidered with large golden daffodils. Although it had seen one too many tea parties, I could still use parts of this tablecloth to make a set of embroidered daffodils bags. On the front, a host of golden daffodils sweep over the surface, and end in a trail across the back. The handles are long enough to fit snuggly around your hands, and it is large enough to hold your essentials at a wedding or garden party. It has a magnetic snap on the inside facing, and is like having an extra pocket, but with its own handles! A great Easter or spring handbag, it would make a lovely wedding present, or gift for Mum.
The linen has been stitched onto canvas to strengthen it, but it is still a soft little bag. It has a pair of handles, each 30 cm long.
It measures about 25 cm by 25 cm with boxed in ends to make it a little more roomy.
It is lined with a green stripe remnant, and is finished off inside with an embroidered facing for a neat finish.
It fastens with a magnetic clasp, and is finished off with my own embroidered name tag.
Please hand wash or use a short delicate machine wash, and leave to dry naturally.
Your bag will be wrapped in clean, recycled wrapping, and posted out as Royal Mail 2nd class.
