Mercury was born on the New Moon in Scorpio with a Grand Water Trine planetary alignment associated with deep emotional healing, intuitive insights and potent personal transformation.
I was called to make this potent healing drum for the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse. This drum is aligned for you to:

Full description
14" Horse Leather Drum on a Rosewood frame. The drum comes with its beater and medicine bag, and each is made by me in partnership with the spirits of the Black Mountains, mid Wales. The leather was soaked in a sacred bath of Oak leaves, 3 different types of Artemisia and lilac Michaelmas daisies - all grown using regenerative practices at the healing sanctuary, Floral Ark.
The linen ribbon that wraps the inner hoop was dyed in Oak leaves, acorns and galls from the garden and has my maker's mark and the symbol given to me during meditations on this drum. The beater is made from honey-coloured suede to match the stripe on the drum face, stuffed with local Welsh Black sheep fleece, and decorated with a wild goose feather. The beater stick is collected from the ancient Welsh woodland known as Pwll y Wrach (The Witches' Pool).
The medicine bag contains apple pips from our apples for the Horse spirit, clear quartz crystal chips, dried Mugwort flowers, and enough space to add your own sacred, magical items.
