Misty mornings and darker evenings, twists of bonfire smoke, soups and stews and crumbles and pies, cosy socks and candlelight - what's not to like about autumn?
And Hallowe'en doesn't have to be all scary ghouls and skeletons - pumpkins, candlelight and twinkling bat-shaped fairylights also make for a fun seasonal celebration.

Full description
Celebrate the change of season (and/or Halloween) with a homespun pumpkin heart.
In autumnal orange windowpane-checks and with a patch featuring a a cute orange plump pumpkin. Generously filled with locally grown lavender (or with hypoallergenic wool toy stuffing) and finished with a rustic wooden button, orange ribbon hanging ties and an orange and white gingham ribbon bow.
Lots of ideas for display - create a seasonal autumn or Halloween 'tree' with garden branches (perhaps spray them black or lichen green or silver); suspend multiple hearts from a wire strung across a window or dresser top; tie onto wire baskets or lanterns filled with mini gourds...
And don't forget, rumour has it that lavender is excellent for scaring away ghosts and witches on 31st October ...
