Thank you for popping into my shop! I’m a retired Graphic Designer, but thankfully I haven’t retired from being creative. I still love the process of making things, experimenting with colour, pattern and texture, and giving new life to all sorts of materials.
You’ll find a colourful and eclectic mix of handmade pieces in my shop, with birds and flowers featuring strongly throughout. I particularly enjoy combining unexpected materials, patterns and colours to create unique mixed-media pieces — so there’s always something a little different to discover.
I’m also a big believer in happy postage! If you find more than one item you’d like, I ALWAYS combine postage and refund any excess. I know it can be a little alarming to see the postage total increase as you add items to your basket, but please don’t worry. I’ll package your purchases together and refund the excess postage on the same day your order is dispatched.

If there's one thing cats do exceptionally well, it's making themselves comfortable - and this one-of-a-kind, hand-sewn textile artwork captures that perfectly.
'Wake Me When It's Dinner Time' features a contented black-and-white tuxedo cat enjoying a well-earned snooze in a cosy pale green armchair. His head is nestled against a plump cream cushion, while a soft red and orange patterned blanket keeps him snug and comfortable.
The cat has been created from cotton fabric, with acrylic paints and inks used to add highlights and subtle variations to his black and white fur. Embroidery threads bring extra texture and definition to his coat, while delicate shimmery metallic threads form his whiskers and claws, adding a playful little flash of sparkle.
The armchair and cushion have been made using furnishing fabric remnants, giving the piece a wonderful mix of textures and a homely, lived-in feel.
There's something wonderfully familiar about a cat curled up in their favourite chair, completely unconcerned with the outside world - and presumably only willing to wake when dinner is ready!
With its warm colours, cosy fabrics and cheeky title, this is a charming piece of textile art that would make a purr-fect gift for a cat lover.
And if you're giving it as a present, I've also made a matching gift tag to accompany it.
The artwork comes in a good quality double mount. Outer measurements are 10 x 8 inches. Visible area 7 x 5 inches. It is titled and signed on the reverse.
