Hi there and welcome to my shop. Here you will find old embroideries, vintage fabrics and sparkling remnants made into something pretty and practical once again. I re-stock slowly but surely, so do keep coming back for a browse.
As I try to recycle where I can, your order will arrive wrapped in clean, recycled packaging from my hoard.

Its nice to find old table linens that still have a vibrancy like this one! and even if they are damaged, there is often enough fabric just the right size for a little vintage lavender bag or two.

Full description
This bold little lavender sachet is re purposed from the corner of an embroidered vintage table cloth. The front is embroidered with a nosegay of flowers, and the back is stitched with a chain of daisies. Inside, is a little muslin bag of lavender from The North Yorkshire Wolds. Lay it in a drawer or over a hanger to keep your linens smelling sweet, or pop under your pillow for a healthy nights sleep. If you store it with your clothes, it will help to keep at bay those annoying moths. This pretty lavender bag would make a lovely house warming present, or as a bridesmaid thank you.
The lavender bag is 11 cm by 11 cm and inside is a little muslin bag of dried lavender .
The front has three embroidered pastel flowers, and the back has a line of hand stitched daisies.
There is a hook to go over your clothes hangers, or to hang it up as a tiny piece of craft in its own right, and it is finished with my own embroidered name tag.
I like to reuse. Your lavender bag will be posted out wrapped in clean, recycled packaging and sent as Royal Mail 2nd class.
