We love victoriana and antiquated dolls, and we feal childhood simply grew up with us. Our cat, Asher, is a living imp too, and with his bug eyes and tweeny nose is arguably the embodiment of creepy-cute. He is our adorable imp and must have inspired us along with heritage collections and tweakables.

Full description
Salem is a dark soul fond of pinned specimens and cabinets of bones. He has been dead for many years and considers his skull visage slimming. Although missing whiskers, Salem is still expert at finding unexpected nooks, and may just exhume a beetle wing or two for your collection.
Salem’s skull and paws are black porcelain, while his body is a Tim Holtz cotton fabric ending in a tail of black leather. The jester’s collar about his neck is a combination of calico and tulle that has been hand stitched with crosses and bronze bells. Salem is made to be seated, however his limbs are jointed with buttons to move at hip and shoulder. For Salem’s heart stone we placed a smoky quartz – a stone excellent for reflecting truth within shadow.
Salem’s materials include: black porcelain, sand, stuffing, metal, leather, calico, tulle, Tim Holtz cotton fabric, buttons and ribbon.
Salem measures 12 cm high, 7cm wide and 10 cm long.
