I'm a bear and textile artist, designer and creator of unique hand embroidered heirloom keepsake bears and collectables.
I'm happy to send my items direct to a recipient on your behalf and I can personalise or rename bears, just drop me a line.
Due to new regulations sadly I can no longer post to Europe or NI.
I have taken US postage off my items, this may be a temporary measure until I have time to look into the new commodity codes, regulations and postage so please contact me if you are wishing to purchase an item and I will look into it.

Meet polly a 16" alpaca mohair heirloom artist bear, a unique collectable bear designed and created by Bearlescent.
Polly, 16" tall and hand crafted from a lovely alpaca mohair in soft mink with wool felt paw pads in beige which have been shaded to give an aged effect.
Polly is fully jointed with 5 sets of cotter pin fitments allowing her to be fully posed. She has brown safety eyes and a hand embroidered black nose.
Polly has a lovely double neck ruffle made from hand dyed silk noil in reds, deep pinks and stone/beige shades finished with a matte silver Bell to the centre. She has a matching small bow to one ear, the edges have been torn and frayed on the ruffle and bow to give a lovely shabby effect.
Originally created with a lemon cardigan I revisited her as she wasn't quite what I wanted, I love her new appearance without the cardigan and the addition of the red ruffle,
Polly wears her name on a wooden tag and Bearlescent is to the back of one ear on a polymer clay button. She has been added to my ever growing bear register and will arrive with birth certificate.
Polly has been designed as an adult collectable bear only and due to her cotter pin fitments she is not suitable for children under 14 years.
She has a lovely soft nature and is quite an old fashioned girl but she would sit happily in any surroundings as long as she can give occasional bear hugs.
