I started the Your Ugly Ego project to explore how social media shapes the way we see the world—and each other. It’s become a mask, covering almost anything with a polished surface. We’re so fixated on how things look that we forget to ask what’s really going on underneath. In a society obsessed with appearances, depth doesn’t seem to matter anymore—whether it’s a person, a situation, or even a living being. That worries me. This collection is my way of helping explore this.
