Full description
An attractive little book with a colourful exposed spine, bound using the style known as Coptic stitching and with added French link stitching. Coptic stitch binding (dating back apparently to the 2nd century AD!) is particularly valued by artists and sketchers as the book opens wide and the pages lie flat but, of course, it is also suitable to somebody who would like to use it to take notes. It is covered in colourful 'Hummingbird' paper and has a little flower motif (sketched by my sister) on the first page so, as with all of my handmade books, it is pretty unique. It measures 15 x 11 2 cm. A lovely and unusual gift.
