Looking closely, there's a quiet, understated beauty to the nettle: those sharp, jagged edges and fresh spring-green shades.
This inconspicuous leaf is now preserved for prosperity in pure silver which I've polished and burnished with care. The bright silver now sparkles and the proud, intricate veins almost seem to glitter in the light.

Full description
This intricate fine silver necklace was made from nettles picked (very carefully!) by the foot of an ancient church in a small Berkshire village. Nettles may be vicious but, when transformed into silver, can be beautiful too.
The proud structure of veins and details creates an unusual, unique pendant.
All my pendants are handmade from silver clay, using real leaves. I create a mould of the leaf to capture every detail. Silver clay is then pressed into the mould before being dried, sanded, fired and polished.
I decided to create a highly polished finish for this pendant so that the details glimmer and sparkle brightly in the light.
The resulting piece is fine silver (999 purity).
Each pendant is handcrafted and unique, capturing a moment in nature for prosperity.
All pendants are attached by sterling silver jump ring to an 18 inch sterling silver chain (see photo of boxed pendant).
Pendants are posted the same or next business day using Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery (no signature required). FREE delivery.
Items are carefully and beautifully packaged in eco-friendly, recyclable cardboard necklace boxes, protected by a larger, letterbox friendly box.
