I never throw out any scraps of fabric from my projects and love to use upcycled cotton from shirts as it is usually good quality. This cluch bag or pouch came about because I have so many pieces. I have also included some embroideries taken from an old table cloth. Slowstitching, whilst very time consuming, is totally relaxing and meditative ..and addictive!

Full description
This hand stitched clutch bag or pouch is entirely made with upcycled and repurposed fabrics. Each piece is sewn together and then decorated with more stitching. I have used some pieces of hand embroidery from a table cloth which was made in Spain. The bag is padded with organic cotton wadding and is lined with a repurposed cotton shirt. The closure is a wrap around cotton ribbon. It is totally unique. It would be useful for a phone, glasses, make-up and carrying every day.
