I read about the working class people who worked in the copper industury in Swansea in the early nineteenth century and wanted to make something to remember them by. I ended up making a series of three unique pendants as testament to the copper heritage of the town. I hope to make more!

Full description
I created this pendant by hand out of 100% recycled 925 Sterling Silver and copper to commemorate the copper works heritage of Swansea. It shows a copper works scene and a tube-set tiny round amber cabochon. It was featured in a set of 3 pendants entitled 'Copr Works' commemorating the copper heritage of Swansea in an exhibition Feb-June 2024 in Glynn Vivian Art Gallery (all three of the pendants are shown in the final photo).
It hangs on an 18" trace chain made of sterling silver 925 and it measures approx 20mm x 35mm and weighs 8.5g. It is fully hallmarked on the back by the London Assays Office and carries my maker's mark.
It will arrive in a black leatherette velour-lined presentation box, wrapped in recycled packaging and delivered by Special Delivery Royal Mail.
