These are the same length and width (approx. 65mm x 15.5mm) as original Ashford-branded leather treadle connectors. However, they have been purposefully made to be approximately 3.7mm thick, which is a tiny bit thinner than the 4mm thick ones that are normally available. The reason for this is because many people struggle to fit 4mm thick connectors into the tight gap on the spinning wheel's treadle and footman. I could just as easily have produced them 4mm thick, but instead chose something ever so slightly thinner for ease of fitting.
Direct replacement for many models of Ashford spinning wheel, particularly those made prior to the mid-1980's. They also fit a number of other makes of spinning wheel. NB.
