I originally trained in prop making and theatre design, however I have always had a passion for drawing and painting. I started Vandra Illustrations in April 2023 as a way of collecting travel memories through sketching and drawing.
This drawing is inspired by a time (over 10 years ago now!) when I lived and travelled around Scandinavia, spending most of my time hiking and camping.
As I do have very few photos from this time, I am mainly drawing from memory in hope to both reminisce over past adventures as well as inspire other passionate campers and hikers. I always love hearing travel stories from my customers and what drew them to my work!
