Full description

This unwashed raw wool is from Ryeland and Ryeland Cross sheep. It has been picked for larger pieces of vegetable matter.

The farm that this wool has come from is a family run dairy farm. It is a farm which maintains high standards of welfare for all the animals in their care. In addition to their cows they have a few sheep kept primarily as pets by some boys who show them at a local county show. They all have names and regular cuddles! They are sheared once a year for the welfare of the sheep, this is done by specialist shearers who work to ensure that the sheep are relaxed while they have their annual trim.

All the packaging is biodegradable or recyclable. 50% of all profits will be given to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institute, which supports British farmers in a range of different ways.
