With this painting I tried out my ability to blend and layer paints.
I painted several layers and drying the paint between each layer, then added swirls and flicks of liquid acrylic black and gold to create more interest. I then hand painted a striking white frame around the canvas to make the colours pop which also makes the painting appear finished off.
