The original design for this card was from my own drawings based on the 1927 German silent Expressionist sci-fi film Metropolis. I love the film and wanted to capture it's general mood, style and theme in a print. The original print was made from a hand drawn, hand cut stencil, then hand screen printed by me in 2013. This is one of my favourite pieces of work I've made... so far!
