Inspired by my love of countryside living and wildlife, this hand-crafted baby bird brooch in sunny - bronze represents the potential of all new life: soon he will fly high over our woodland.

The pin brooch is made from metal clay and has been fired in my garden studio here at Firestone Studios on the Isle of Wight. The firing process burns away the clay, leaving solid bronze. The sunny bronze that I have used looks and feels like gold. Each piece is modelled by hand – no two pieces are the same, each one is totally unique, and I accept bespoke commissions.
