One-off luxury grocery shopping bag. Each bag is made with a unique combination of fabrics. This classy combo pairs navy waxed cotton with a textured fabric in pale blue shot with buttermilk yellow. Pink, blue and purple top stitching complements the colours of the fabrics and adds bright accents.

I love this cute market bag design by michellepatterns (michellepatterns.com). Reinforced seams give the bag strength and durability. The handles open wide for easy access to a spacious interior that accommodates plenty. Over time the corners lay flat so the bag holds a boxy shape at the base easily. This foldable bag is easy to store. Great for grocery shopping, as a work bag, picnic bag, beach bag – whenever you are out and about.

Waxed cotton is strong, stylish and water resistant. (My own waxed cotton version of this bag is still going strong after more than a decade.) This navy waxed cotton goes well with the yellow-blue textured interior fabric, which was part of a curtain in a previous life. Both fabrics are sturdy, so this may literally be a bag for life!
