This very unusual, irregular shaped red piece of seaglass was collected from Withernsea beach in East Yorkshire. Although well worn by the sea, there are still clear moulding marks on the glass suggesting it may have come from a car or bike brake light. The Sterling silver leaf shaped bail has been affixed on the side with the more obvious markings, so giving options as to the right-way-round to wear it. Red seaglass is highly sought after due to the infrequency of it being washed ashore. The glass measure approx 3.8 x 2cm
The Sterling silver chain is an adjustable 18-20 inch length.

Red seaglass is the stuff collectors dream of along our coast. It is rare to find in a usable state. But here is such a piece. Definitely a happy dance was done when I found it. The picture shows the day’s treasures. It is not a shape that is perfect or glamorous but it is soooooo very unusual.
