Full description
Hand decorated fine bone china Christmas bauble with my watercolour nuthatch illustration. A beautiful heirloom Christmas decoration.
Painted from my photographs of a nuthatch enjoying the peanuts at a mixed woodland hide. My original painting is scanned in and printed as a ceramic transfer, hand cut and applied to a fine bone china Christmas tree bauble. Each bauble will have a different combination of imagery meaning each one is unique, creating a special heirloom decoration that can be treasured each year.
This design will feature the nuthatch as shown however the rest of the imagery will vary but may include toadstools, holly, ferns, moon and stars, berries, and pine cones. Please see photographs for examples. If you would like to request a specific combination please send me a message along with your order.
Each bauble comes in its own gift box safely nestled in shredded tissue. For a small extra fee you can add some red and green twine and a kraft gift tag.
After decorating the baubles are fired in my small electric kiln to 800c fusing the transfers into the glaze.
Dimensions:
6cm diameter, 6.5cm tall including fitting.
