This necklace was made from a silver Birmingham 1946 napkin ring. it measures approx. 2.8cms by 1.1cms.

This napkin ring is more modern looking than some that I have used recently. It was made just after the Second World war. I enjoy making jewellery from bent or damaged silver retro items as they have had a life and usually have some great engine turned patterns. It also saves silver from being taken out of the ground at huge risk to the workers and the environment.
