A delicately hand painted fern created by myself that I have set inside a large vintage silver coloured locket. The locket height is 7cm and the width is 4cm. This is a beautiful, one-off statement piece that can be worn as a choker from the velvet ribbon included or from a long chain (not included).

I have always loved ferns and the front garden of my cottage is full of them due to it being very shaded! This pretty vintage locket pendant was the perfect shape for my first miniature of a fern. I used three different sized brushes and slowly worked my way down leaf by leaf with delicate strokes. I find painting miniatures to be very soothing and I hope this sense of peace is reflected in my creations.
