Item details

This little asymmetrical dish is made of air dry clay and I carved the bird into the lino. The final version is a mix of print and carving into clay. The surface is covered with a matt sealant.

Dims: roughly 8.5 x 8.5 cm / 3.3 x 3.3 inch

The pieces of jewellery are decorations in the photo.

This item is not dishwasher safe. Clean it dry or slightly damp cloths.

I was experimenting with different techniques: carving lino and printing on clay. The process resulted in this vision-like image of a bird flowing in space. The Sun and the fields are on her back showing that she is carrying her world and beauty within.
