I love cards and keep favorite ones sent to me over the years. Many of my Christmas cards have a scandinavian feel in honour of my Swedish Grandmother. A handcrafted card can say so much especially if it is of an unusual subject - I really enjoy painting birds, animals, flowers and plants and adding my own unique twist to the natural world. I also like playing around with my images to achieve different effects, which often create really original cards. I like to think that someone might also keep one of my cards as a reminder of a special day or occasion - they look great framed.
