Item details

Pink hearts on grey band Fairisle hearts design. This lovely handmade earwarmer headband has been hand knit from soft British Masham wool.

As usual I have knitted this hairband by hand using knitting needles, not a machine. It is knitted "in the round" so no ugly or uncomfortable seams. It is slightly stretchy, to fit average adult head size 55-62cm. The band is approx. 9cm deep to keep your ears cosy. The sweet little "Roses Workshop" brand label is laser etched faux leather.

The hairband will be wrapped in tissue and tied up with a ribbon, ready for giving or as a treat for yourself. To get your lovely purchase to you quickly and safely I use Royal Mail tracked / signed for services. Save on postage when you buy two or more items from my shop at the same time.

Renewable and sustainable - British wool is the ultimate in eco-friendly slow fashion material.

I love using the wool from the many and varied breeds of sheep found here in the UK, and I am a supporter of the Campaign for Wool.

Named for the town in North Yorkshire, Masham sheep are created by crossing a Teeswater ram with a Swaledale or Dalesbred ewe. The result is a medium sized sheep with very long and lustrous fleece. They have been bred for over a century in the north of England. Lovely soft wool that I use for hats and gloves.
