This beautiful, unique item is so striking with the complementary purples enhanced by the black lines. The repeat motif evokes elements of a lace design and the Victorian Gothic style.

This statement piece is an original and won’t be replicated as I have no pattern to reference; it’s one of a kind and was created using a method of free form.

Float mounted against the white background adds an extra level of contrast, allowing the crochet to sing.

Wrong Side of Sol enjoys the play of colour and form in the creation of eye-catching crochet design, which is certainly in abundance with this beautiful item.

Presented in standard white box frame measuring 34x34cms and approx 5cms deep with hook for wall hanging. Crochet measures approx 19cms point to point.

Wrong Side of Sol presents the art of crochet - beautiful crochet with vibrant colour combinations and eye-catching design. All my artworks are unique.

I wanted to design a hexagonal pattern with a twist! My friend, Philippa, loves all things purple and so it’s because of her this was chosen for the colour theme! So, thank you to Philippa because I’m so pleased with how this piece turned out!

This work was a journey with geometric design to display the colour compliments to their fullest and I'm absolutely delighted with the result.
