The vibrant colours of the Merino wool inspired this bright cross-body bag. I get my wool tops from World of Wool in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. With such a range of colours, its difficult to make something subtle. The main body of the bag has been made using the ancient craft of wet felting. Fibres are agitated, fulled and shocked to make a sturdy, unique fabric. I have lined the bag with a contrasting deep teal polyester fabric, including a purse pocket. The strap is long enough to go over the shoulder or cross-body. It is made from 100%cotton webbing. A decorative painted wooden button and loop form a closing at the top of the bag for security.

I could never do justice to our amazing sunsets or sunrises in my other medium. I have painted and sketched them but the Merino wool fibres I use, beautifully created the vibrancy of colour that I was looking for. I absolutely love the reds and yellows in this bag. It is a bag for all occasions and is slim, not bulky. The bag measures 33 cm long and 17 cm wide. The long strap will fit easily across the body. If you love colour like I do, you'll love the added colour of a contrasting teal for the lining. The texture is very soft and yet, strong.
