Hand Dyed Bluefaced Leicester wool Combed Top
Considered by many to the best British breed wool, the Bluefaced Leicester fleece is highly prized for its likeness to mohair and for its production of attractive lustrous yarns with good resilience.

Microns: 26mic
Fibre Staple Length: 85-90mm
100g / 3.5 ounce braid

My dyeing process means no two braids are ever identical, but you can find others from the same small dye batch in my store.
I only use commercially prepared, top quality dyes in my work to ensure good light and colour fastness.
After being hand rinsed my fibres are slowly air dried to allow them to relax and fluff back out, making them easy to work with.
