delicate little porcelain teacups glazed in high fire Lagoon Blue inside and Polar white outside.

Wheel thrown with dimples added for comfortable holding. Each piece is handmade from start to finish and takes around a month to complete. being handmade each piece is also slightly different and unique.

All pieces are food safe unless otherwise stated.

These little grip teacups were something I remember my grandmother making when I was a little girl. Porcelain has always been her favourite clay to work with and while it can be something of a "diva" in terms of clay bodies it enables me to make fine delicate pieces.

I don't very often work with it as it is an expensive material and I tend to make functional homeware pieces so I prefer a more robust white stoneware clay however occasionally I do like the challenge of porcelain and I was particularly pleased with these teacups.

While every effort with be made to ensure safe delivery accidents can happen during transport. Any piece damaged on delivery can be either re-made (this can take up to a month as it will require drying time and two firings) or refunded, photographs from the buyer will be required of the damage and of the packaging on arrival.
