Ever seen those weird creatures peering down from old buildings? This felt fridge magnet is inspired by those gargoyles and grotesque faces carved hundreds of years ago; a cheeky face sticking it's tongue out at passers by!

I make little fridge magnets for a bit of fun in between larger projects. They are pure wool, felted into shape and then decorated. I then attach a magnet onto the back so it will stick to your fridge or magnetic noticeboard. This range is a bit different, with much more 3d relief detailing. A lovely little gift for the person who has everything!

This little magnet will come in an organza gift bag ready for giving, then packed in a cardboard box to comply with postage regulations. To get your lovely purchase to you quickly and safely I use Royal Mail tracked signed for services. The postage shown is for the whole parcel - save on postage when you buy two or more items from my shop at the same time.

n.b. These magnets are for decorative purposes, they are not toys. The magnet is glued on, and also protected by a thin felt cover stitched onto the back to further reduce the chance of the magnet coming off, but should be treated with care. This one has plastic googly eyes, so please keep it safely out of the reach of small children and pets.

As a child I visited many cathedrals and castles, and I was fascinated by the carved creatures mostly in high places. The gargoyles that spit out rainwater were a favourite, but there were naughty or grotesque faces, and weird fantasy creatures like dragons and goblins too.
This range is in homage to those skilled stone-carvers whose work is still giving pleasure so many hundreds of years later.
