Why not celebrate The Queens Platinum Jubilee in style by turning your hand to this Union Jack Heart Garland.

This kit provides you with all the tools you need to decorate eight clay hearts, and thread them onto some beautiful jute fabric to display.

In addition, you can keep it as a memory of the day and keepsake for the future, or you can reuse the hearts by stripping off the Union Jack Design by peeling the easy-peel glue from the clay hearts and start all over again with a new design.

Each heart is individually made using air-dry clay, which are approximately 4x4 cms.

The Jute string is around 120cm long.

Contents: x8 air-dry Clay Hearts, one drying sheet, jute string, glue, One Union Jack Paper Napkin, glue brush, moulding stick, and Instructions.

SUITABILITY;
Suitable for 3 years and over, ADULT SUPERVISION IS RECOMMENDED.
Remove all packaging before giving this kit to your child.

I enjoyed creating these hearts. I tried lots of different glue techniques and found prepping the heart first the easier way to secure the napkin when moulding the rest of paper around the outside and into the hanging holes. I was surprised how easily the dried napkin could be removed to recover the heart with a different design. The glue discolours the white of the napkin slightly but I found it created a more vintage look to the overall finish
