Moon,, Night Sky signed original pastel landscape painting. 12 by 10 inch when mounted, (approx), in a standard white frame, with archival mount. Stormy Ice Moon.

I am always drawn to the moon, particularly when she shines so stunningly as this. I like to paint outside but the ice clouds nipped my fingers too much, so I painted this looking through the window with a roaring fire.

I love painting the moon, I find the sky fascinating, and like to go to places where there are no lights. Nothing gives you better perspective in terms of how we are a small part of the vastness of what is around us.
