Handmade in our North Yorkshire studio, this Sterling Silver pendant was made as a Limited Edition, only three pendants were made and this is the last one for sale. It is created from a single piece of Sterling Silver and the shape and all the intricate patterns are achieved by drilling and hand piercing them out. It is a very time consuming process and takes a lot of care and precision.
The silver has been polished for that bright reflective shine.
The finished pendant has a slight curve/dome to the centre of the pendant so the edges sit next to the skin but the middle domes up away from the skin, this helps to highlight the pattern and to make it catch the light.
The pendant hangs from a Sterling Silver Curb Chain and the finished necklace is approx. 16" Long.

The inspiration for this pendant came from seeing the shapes of fallen leaves while on a walk on a beautiful autumn day. I collected some of my favourites to bring back to the studio and started looking at the shapes and the markings of the veins and the patterns in between.

I made a series of sketches, incorporating the different ones into this single pendant. Once I had a finished design I then set about hand piercing the intricate shapes. The piece was then domed slightly to create the curve and then polished to a high shine to catch the light.

Limited Edition Design - this pendant was made as a very limited edition and there are only three pendants of this design in existence, this is the last pendant for sale.
