Beautiful wrought iron 19th century pedestrian bridge spanning the swirling River Mersey. Popular walking and cycling route, linking Hardy Farm area to Stretford Ees and Jackson's Boat pub on Rifle Road. The bridge is Grade 2 listed with Historic England, which replaced and earlier timber trestle toll bridge that was washed away in the floods of 1880. Stunning treescapes and views towards Chorlton Ees.
