This pretty glass pendant was made by fusing three layers of glass together in my kiln at a top temperature of 795 degrees centigrade for approximately seven hours.
There is a layer of clear glass top and bottom and in this pendant I’ve used several pieces of dichroic glass in a mosaic of colour in the middle layer. Dichroic is a magical glass which alters through the firing process and shimmers and changes colour as light hits the surface.
One of the photos of this pendant shows how the mosaic has a clear glass area on one edge (between the mosaics) which is an unusual feature that I tried for the first time here.
I have attached a silver plated bail and it hangs on a 24” silver plated snake chain.
The glass measures 23mm x 37mm
This pendant comes with a FREE GIFT of a pair of dichroic glass stud earrings with sterling silver plated posts and butterfly backs. The colours pick up the colours in the mosaic glass pendant.

Packaged in a kraft necklace gift box.
The £3.35 postage is because the box is deeper than 2.5 cms and requires parcel post.

This piece does make me think of stained glass windows. This time I used clear glass for the top and bottom layer which makes areas of this pendant ‘see through’
