During a trip out I found two sacks in a antiques/ vintage mill and just had to have them. I had never worked with hessian and wasn't too sure if my sewing machine could cope with it. It is a challenging material but I am really pleased with the results. As well as coasters I made tote bags and storage containers.
I send all my products in pre-loved packaging and would encourage you to recycle or reuse if you can.
