These ingenious bags open up to lie completely flat giving you easy access to view your balls of wool, thread, beads, .... in fact anything you choose to pop inside. Then with a quick pull of the cords, they draw up into a neat handy storage bag with a built in handle to carry by.

Made using traditional patchwork piecing in a variety of fabrics and fully lined inside with a plain cream lining to make seeing the contents easily.

The drawstring is a soft cotton cord that keeps tangle free and has matching fabric toggles on the ends. The cord is threaded through 8 tap tags around the outside of the circle.

When not in use they can be folded away for easy storage until the next project begins.

The finished diameter of the circle is approximately 18 inches.

- using fabric offcuts & scraps to create new fabrics
- using Eco-friendly and recycled packaging

So on a visit from my sister who does lots of knitting using numerous balls of wool to knit complex hats, cowls and socks and always carries lots of wool around when out and about visiting family & friends. She was after something that she could see all the different wools but also be a way of carrying her wool without loosing it. So after some thought the Circular Drawstring Project Bag was born.

The one I made for my sister was 36 inches diameter though.....she does a lot of knitting!!
