This handmade bee soap dish has been thrown on the potters wheel.

In a natural buff stoneware clay which has been glazed in a teal matt glaze, with bee imprint design. Makers mark visible (see close up photo's).

HAGSTONE Handmade Soap Bar
Honey flower, amber, leather

Each bar of Hagstone is topped with a smooth, tumbled crystal sourced from the African Womens Aid Network, which you can remove and carry with you. The soap has been scented with a complex blend of honey flower, amber, leather, tobacco, tonka, sandalwood, bourbon and patchouli - it smells warm, sweet, deep and smoky.

This soap bar is inspired by British myths and folktales ~ Hagstones, also known as adder Stones, Odin Stones, Holy Stones or Snake Eggs, are stones with a naturally occurring hold in them. For centuries they were thought to have special powers: they would ward off evil magic, keep you safe on journeys and, if you peeked through the hole, let you see into another realm and the home of the fae folk.
