I have had an interest in pretty jewellery especially with vibrant colours and those of the dichroic kind for quite some time. I also have a passion for crafting. So when I came across the art of kiln fusion I decided I wanted to have a go.
I bought myself some tools and various kinds of both dichroic and Bullseye glass and set to. From then on I haven`t look back. At times the results really surprise me.
For this particular piece I used some lovely dichroic splatter glass(blue and black). And also an intense blue rippled dichroic. In the center of the piece I used a very shiny rainbow coloured dichroic. This came out gold with a blue streak. For the base I used a plain black Bullseye glass. It is a one off and I think very beautiful.
