Here’s a Mosaic Head called "Mia" - meaning “Wanting Child” (She was created during lockdown). This unique handmade mosaic head is made from recycled vintage & pre-used crockery, vitreous glass tiles and other mixed media elements mounted on a recycled composite wooden base. Measuring 28cms x 19cms this piece can be wall mounted (D Ring fixing supplied - although could be adapted to freestanding). At the start of lockdown I decided to deviate away from my usual mosaic designs and create something more original - a Mosaic Head.
I called him Eakant which means "Alone". Shortly after I made him a mate "Mia". These became the parents and the start of a family of unique and original Mosaic Heads.
