Designed for beautiful gifting, this gently crackling wood wick candle has the nostalgic scent of charming old book shops and libraries. It's vegan friendly with a burn time of around 23 hours.

Your candle will come personalised with a calligraphy name tag written with a dippy ink pot and metal nib, in moon gold ink on a luxury navy circular card.

All of our packaging is recyclable, and most of our paper and card is recycled, including the gift box and little inserts that come with your candle, and even the ribbon we use for gift wrapping!

Each of our soy candles comes with a little 'story' insert with a mindfulness message. Leaves of a much-loved book was the very first insert we wrote - as book lovers it was easy to write about getting lost inside favourite pages, and turning to them for an escape when life is tough.

The softly crackling wood wick is calming and adds an extra dimension to these very special luxury candles.

I've loved reading all of my life. I have a set of books I turn to when life gets especially hard - they're my escape and they're full of magic and adventure. I used to go to the village library after school, sit in the corner and read a little book or two, then take my favourites home. The place was tiny, the librarian was a lovely older lady, and I loved it there.
And yes, I sniff books. I love the scent of them, the way a second hand book smells like it's had a life of its own. I'm drawn into antique bookshops - they're my happy place.
This candle really does smell of much-loved books, with a sweet, musty and pleasantly complex fragrance I adore.
