Fossils are so intriguing and interesting. Just the thought of what our earth must have been like when they when these creatures were alive is enough to get any imagination going. Although rare, they can actually be found almost anywhere if you are lucky, and although Ammonite is the most common form of fossil found in the UK it still gave us a real thrill when we stumbled across our own Ammonite fossil when we were just out on an everyday walk. It's such a simple yet enthralling shape that we felt it just had to be captured somehow in our work and here is our stylised interpretation in silver..
